Eric and Amber Holmertz

In January of 2018, my wife Amber and I felt called to serve abroad as a missionary family. Just two weeks later, I received a job posting by email mentioning Uganda, and it caught my eye because we had been sponsoring a girl in Uganda for 8 years. God in His sovereignty has been leading, equipping, and positioning our family for foreign missions with an organization right in line with our family mission and vision. My role is Marketing and Donor Relations Manager, with responsibilities over the Uganda based marketing, donor relations, sponsorship, and hospitality areas of the ministry. We love the heart of the ministry, “Bringing the Fatherhood of God to the Fatherless”, and since the arrival of our family of nine in November 2019, we have seen this heart being expressed daily by those God has called to serve here with New Hope Uganda!
